He was born in Michigan on June 16, 1850 to Christopher Kessler and Anna Assman, both of Germany, and he was married and worked as a foreman for the City Water Board. Mrs. J. Kessler is the informant, and the undertaker handling the arrangement is C. Schulte and Son.
